except it doesn't because dr manhattan is explicitly on america's side and literally won wars for them. the point of the alien threat was that it was unknown and united humanity, by making it manhattan the rest of the world could just as easily go 'fuck america!'

something not being funny is not the same thing as being offensive. that's the craziest logic leap i've ever heard of.

i can't wait until they finally implement drug testing in actors

52k, which still isn't very much

man i really wanted them to make that movie and i really don't want to watch the wacky adventures of a convicted pedophile

oh man please don't ruin weed any more than it already is

i think part of the joke was that she was white and had the last name wong, which is why beth called her last name racist

it's my favorite episode hands down and still re-listen from time to time. truly felt like zukes was actually losing his mind at times and andy daly couldn't be funnier.

hard core fans of anything are typically what ends up being wrong with most things

while i harbor no nostalgia for the '97 editions they are the first versions of star wars i actually sat through, and boy being in 7th grade and seeing the star wars trilogy on the big screen was pretty awesome. spreading them out one-a-month was perfect.

TFW your heart is in the right place but your brain isn't

very fun comment section there as well :-/

ooh thanks for this

you sound like someone who likes things they agree with and hates things they disagree with

it's crazy how much connery ages between dr no and never say never again.

not just misogyny either. plenty of people with eating disorders championing each other with 'thinspiration'. people have equated feeling shame for something arbitrary (not being good at sports, or whatever) with shame they should actually be feeling (don't be racist or sexist)

he basically thinks diversity is arbitrary, which completely misses the point of diversity. he also argues against programs and classes for races/genders, which reeks of entitlement and, in a term i'm making up now, spoiled-brattedness.

i also liked cool games inc

it's not about them being different, it's about saying them having different interests (which again, is a premise i don't agree with) should allow someone to say 'oh okay a woman wouldn't be good in this role. this is man's work.'

people tell writers of books, movies, tv shows and every single stand up comedian who's ever lived they're doing it wrong all the time. is this your first time on the internet?
