Yea you won't have any problems
What year X? I've wheeled with a few of them, you won't have a problem.
That's up to you. You can thrash it or not depending on your trail choice. My Disco is stock besides one size bigger tire (31s) and also my DD. It's been to Rausch twice and never received body damage from any trails there.
I agree. The suspension is really less than impressive. AEV has really underwhelmed me with their suspension since they were "brought back from the dead" a few years ago. It's less 'out of the box engineering' and more 'use the most factory pieces as possible' now. Carli makes some serious suspension for these trucks.
OMFG YOU HAVE A ROCKY???? We already have a gigantic group of people, come on down.
For real though, say when and I'm down for some wheeling.
I'll be at Muddy Chef.
Dang. Well, sure send someone. It'll be a good time. Gonna have two groups, one hardcore and one lighter duty. I'll be down there a couple times this season, either with or without my Rover. My buddies all fixed up their Jeeps this winter.
Come to Rausch the weekend of the 24th. There will be a 5 speed Disco I in attendance.
I couldn’t care less about any of those features.
Dat Patrol.
What about the XJ? My Disco also has the tank back there, but its tucked up way higher than it is on the Jeeps.
And why is this only for ZJs and WJs? What about every other vehicle with a gas tank in that location made since the dawn of time? The whole things is pretty crazy if you ask me.
I installed a 2 pairs of these at my in-laws place. I was very impressed with them for their size and price.
My 95 LR Discovery has a handle on the inside of the rear door. It does have 2 seats back there though.
3rd: US-Built Amarok pretty please?
But, will the head gaskets still leak?
