I hope it looks better with the wrap off, but that grille/bumper is taller than the windshield.

Summer tires are NOT all seasons, which pretty much every car comes with. Anyone with a set of those more than likely has a winter set already.
Uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Seriously. Why the hell is EVERYONE using this grill shape? I hate it.
A 99 WJ is in no way a crown jewel of Daimler-era Jeep.
A big ole LOL to the offroad argument. A stock WJ isn't some engineering marvel, either. And if you compared a loaded WJ in 1999 to a loaded MB ML the WJ is junk. Crap plastic, big gaps, and gross fake wood. The '15s are way more comparable, but it's still a Jeep.
Looks like they may have had those lift pad extension things flipped up (used so the arms of the lift clear the bottom of the body and the feet can grab something real to lift from) and they just failed/slipped. Regardless of what happened, that sucks.
The A pillars were separated from the front end, D pillars were dimpled really bad, the floor had a rip from the dash to the backseat, and there was't a straight panel on the thing save for the hood.
All I hear is "blah blah blah." Yea, I still miss my first XJ. Yea, I'd love to go back and try and save it. Would it be worth it? Hell fucking no, that thing was more mangled than a beer can being used as a hockey puck all weekend in Canada and had almost 200k miles on it (60k or so mine).
Tis are all over craigslist for under $5k. The newest TJ is 8 years old...
You just popped my 507 cherry. And it feels so right.
You made the right choice.
You're an awesome dude for bringing the whole "Hooning" thing to millions of people. It's great that you can be a public feature for keeping the culture alive and well. Ever think of throwing some more "Hoon Responsibly" stuff around than a small text clip in the videos? It would be great to get more people off of the…
Gas tanks have been in the rear of cars since forever and its a huge deal for only WJ Grand Cherokees and KJ Libertys? I really don't understand this issue.
I support this. But I have a feeling my wallet will not.
A built up RRC is just as much, if not more of a handful at highway speeds.
Built up a XJ with my buddy on 40" PBRs. Thing did 85 smooth as glass and got 14 MPG highway. A little extra wheelbase and width, good gearing, and hydro assist go a long way.
I found not one but two 5 speed D1s for friends... One from BX and the other pretty much Queens. Combined cost of both? $2k. Still enjoying that Scout project? Ha.
