It's not just that. The regular posters here tend to be a-political, at least in here. Outside the comics threads, yes, there's politics everywhere. But in here, politics usually just doesn't come up, so I don't have to worry about saying the wrong thing or seeing someone act like an ass in relation to some group

It seems like every Marvel book of late is a presumptive limited series in fact even if it's labeled as an ongoing.

I have negative opinions on a lot of things. It's just that I believe in dialogue and education over tribalism and bumper stickering.

I don't like how that guy is tweeting at Spencer. I don't like how Spencer is tweeting back at that guy. I hate how we're polarizing as a society and how firm stances seem to necessitate that everyone is an enemy and a target and not just someone to dialogue with.

Like, I'm still not 100 percent clear because I just can't keep up. The gist I have us that Cain wrote the book with a feminist bent, alienated non feminist readers, who trolled her on Twitter, so she quit.

Honestly, I'm not 100% up on the issue. Chelsea Cain quits Twitter, I got, but the blowup on Nick Spencer's page which followed went over my head. I can't tweet very well.

So, Twitter blew up yesterday over Mockingbird.

If it doesn't have Clover, it ain't a Cloverfield movie.

My kid has peanut allergies, so in her case the answer tends to be "one." However, we have a standing agreement where I get everything she can't eat.

I'm not seeing a lot of commentary in the fact that Cartnan's conversion is sincere. Or the fact that out of all the crap Cartman is done, he's worried about Heidi finding out about his stance on Ghostbusters.

"This image is off-putting because it wants us to think that Baby Kermit has bones."

In retrospect, I'm amazed at the amount of footage from movies and culture was shamelessly coopted by this show. I'd like to think Henson was like, fuck it, we're the Muppets. No one will sue us.

I was disturbed by the episode where Gonzo hid all the cookies and he imagined the other Muppets as homeless.

William Hurt?

NOW can we agree that there's a sacred cow which shouldn't be rebooted?

Leslie Jones.

Sure, but I'm not undead. And with boobs like these, you can't complain.

So, I'm thinking "Judith" for the bride.

How about "Stitchface"?

I thought the Mummy was also going to be a woman. And maybe the werewolf could be a woman, it a guy who turns into a female wolf, or something.
