They could have called them 40x90's... or half-and-a-deci, if they want to make it sound all british-like. half-and-a-decimeter would still be closer than us calling our 3/2"x5/2" boards 2x4's.

Maybe it's just that I was raised on racing games, but I must say it's about damn time we get some real powerups. Next, I want a strip you drive over which upgrades your lasers, or gives you the power to shrink everyone else on the 405.
And of course, it's expected to be 800 bucks when it's finally released.
Liquid Helium is literally the only substance that can get so close to 0K. It's used in everything from MRI machines to chip manufacture. Because of some halfwit in congress about 15 years ago, we're obligated to sell off our helium stocks at pennies on the dollar. If the market dictated price, it'd be 20 bucks+ per…
No doubt they will be limited edition, for 400+ dollars a piece.
I bet it costs 600 bucks, too.
Facebook's been bad about this for a long time. Both the old Blackberry app and the Android app have the tendency to screw with your contact list if you aren't careful. My blackberry automatically deleted any contact that wasn't also a FB contact, "as a courtesy" to clean things up - lost more than a few good business…
One reason would be if you're getting the T4i, and want the flippy screen, video autofocus, and Magic Lantern (eventually). Right now, the T2i is still the best bet for a super-cheap video DSLR (but you miss that awesome flippy screen that my 7D doesn't even get).
It truly is terrible. It wasn't broken before, why do they keep "fixing" things?!
Here you go. Or maybe not, the picture won't show. Don't worry, Gawker's fixing everything with their new and amazing comment system...
I've never tried to get live output from a GoPro, is it easy or even possible? if they did multiple angles, the light panels would have had to be multi-angle too. Not that it's undoable on a DARPA budget, but even Mercedes would have a hard time justifying the cost.
a canon DSLR probably the easiest option for this, as you can get a clean, high quality, live output HDMI signal (at least with Magic Lantern). If they were to manufacture cars with this tech, the cameras would obviously be more integrated.... but they probably won't so it's a moot point.
It's because hydrogen in gas form is not very high-density as far as energy storage goes, and people are still whining about the (mostly solved) dangers of being blown up in a collision.
I stopped trusting Yelp after I kept hearing reports by local restaurant and business owners that Yelp representatives would call and try to persuade them to pay for some type of "preferred" status... Ones that didn't pay often had the majority of their positive reviews flagged as "spam". I heard the same story from…
If you live in a big city, that's probably a good idea. There's studios here in LA that rent space for 25/hr, and you get to use any of the lighting and facilities available. For the amount of time a studio is actually used, this is often a better option than owning it yourself.
There are many extremely simple "Forgotten" methods to moving huge things. Wally Wallington seems to have re-discovered a few: [www.youtube.com]
The missiles probably affect it adversely, though with the puny amount of missiles it caries vs the A-10, it can't affect it that bad, right?..right?
As a lefty, I've never really been able to make use of cursive anyway. I humored my 3rd grade teachers for a while, but since then, I've either used print rather than cursive. Once I learned to type, I never looked back.
The gatling gun as well as any missiles and bombs not carried internally will increase the radar signature substantially. Even with that, it would probably take several F-35's to equal the ridiculous amount of destructive power packed into an A-10. In the inevitable scenario that one is hit, it's unlikely that the…
I have a bone to pick with Nintendo. Mario 64 came out when I was a kid... I was OBSESSED with that game, and waited around forever for a second Mario game, passing the time with the classics from NES/SNES. Years passed, the Gamecube came out. Mario Sunshine was a freaking disappointment, and was barely a mario game…
