Remember that old 'yo mama' joke from the 90's, "Yo mama's so dumb she uses a camcorder to tape her TV shows"?

@Oxyrt: If Giz/Gawker isn't getting a few bucks for putting a gigantic iPad at the top of one of the most popular tech sites on the web, then I think we've found another grade-A chump.

@PinkLantern: I hear ya, plus I'm not about to give up my couch, nor my burritos.

Can't one of us just adopt him or something? Even the most irresponsible or ill-equipped among us would be better parents than this.

I bet they stole that horrible new logo they had for a while from Flickr, too..

I wonder if this is too hot to light a bong with, or if it'd just scorch everything...

@judacris: These people are doing just that, using a dish with a Stirling engine.

@Eggman223: It'd have the best damn graphics of any tablet out there, and you'd still have to be fluent in Hindi, Tamil, or Punjabi to properly communicate with tech support.

@sirrix: With new technology (and friends willing to work for free), it's possible to shoot a Hollywood feature on a Youtube budget. As we've seen here, anyone with some skill and a lot of time on their hands can even do realistic CG compositing now without a server farm.

@Luis Mazza: In the music industry, the "talent"is almost never overpaid, but generally gets a single digit percentage of each album sold... after paying off the studio fees with their pennies first, of course.

@snownpaint1: This is how the movie industry works, all the way down the line - The people serving the alcohol are usually underpaid actors waiting to audition for Coppola's next film.

@rebeldevil: Not to everybody else on the road, there isn't.

This is old news- They've been letting blind people drive in Boston for years. They make up a healthy majority of the driving population there, actually.

@TheAlmeida: Race, gender, and their respective 'isms have changed in the last 20 or so years, and our culture is different than the one in the mid 80's. Race still does matter for a lot of mostly stupid reasons, but this is one of the many events that helped it matter less.

@Pripyat: It especially didn't help that the rubber wasn't rated for the cold temperatures that were unexpectedly faced by that part of Florida, which caused them to shrink, become brittle, and develop cracks. There were fucking icicles on the launch pad!

@Apotheosis: What's worse is a doctor that won't even LISTEN when you're telling him what's wrong, because he doesn't think you're smart enough to know what you're even there for.

@Dr. Nemmo: Those procedures are not random at all! They are chosen based on a price-benefit system...
