It's vinyl dye from Autozone. It's made to paint the interiors of cars and goes on thinner than regular ole spraypaint, so it's not as prone to clumping. It takes a lot of coats, though. About six coats in, I was beginning to think the thing was never going to look right.

I like the look of the Hemingwrite and the general idea, but the cost is really prohibitive (at least while Alphasmarts are still readily available). I paid $20 a month ago for my Neo. That was cheap enough for me to risk ripping the thing apart and class it up with a fancy new paint job. Now, it looks neat and

I have two Alphasmarts — a Neo and a Dana — and love them both very much. I'm an obsessive self-editor (I just wrote that last sentence three times, and it's not even impressive). The Alphasmart doesn't allow me to modify much. I'm forced to continue pressing forward, no matter how much I might want to go back and

This is probably the most accurate analogy for comparing PC and console gamers I've ever read. For those who enjoy PC gaming (and I do, though I enjoy console gaming just as much ... pretty much just gaming in general), part of the joy is tinkering. I can totally understand not wanting to mess around with that;

Very nice video essay. I'm not familiar with this series (of videos, I mean; Ubisoft won't let me not know what Far Cry is), but I think I'll start following it from here on out.

I really enjoy the later Far Cry entries for what they are, but man 'o man, did I love Far Cry 2. It was so oppressive and frustrating, but

I thought the exact same thing.

I like it. It's kind of a mix of the first suit's musculature and the second suit's more armored look.

I'm with you; I have yet to be bored by them at all. I don't think they're as good as LOTR, but I also don't find them nearly as tedious or offensive as the rest of the internet seems to.

I have to say, I was really bummed when Clone Wars was canceled, but Rebels has really won me over. It's so charming, and there are a lot of really great little character moments throughout each episode. There are things I could nitpick, of course; but overall, the show is just a lot of fun. Good job, Star Wars Rebels

He might not be a storm trooper; he could just be in disguise.

I'm always of a mixed opinion with these kinds of things. While I can rarely tell the difference in lossy vs lossless audio over a pair headphones — even really good ones — as soon as I play lossy music through an amp and decent speaker setup, the difference is almost always much more obvious. Anybody else feel the

We're like Twinkies on this one, Meredith. "Harold" was the first story that really, really disturbed me. Just imagining coming back over the hill and seeing my friend's skin baking in the sun atop a roof ... shiver. It sounds so silly out of context, but couples with the original illustrations marvelously.

Also, I really, really, really like that Krang design.

You know, I think I actually prefer that turtle design to what we got. At least this version of Raph isn't so bulky as to seem like he couldn't possibly move.

Yeah, I got one of these messages, too. He or she called me a "dumb shit" because Bob Gale claimed on the DVD commentary that Glover asked for too much money. I wonder if this is a relative of Glover's? Ooooo, or Glover himself. Hey, Crispin! Loved you in Charlie's Angels! (Nah, not really. I didn't see it.)

As a backer of Chroma Squad, I can't begin to explain how angry this situation makes me.

"Why? Why? Who on earth thought this would be fun?"

I've said this exact same phrase so many times playing so many different video games. Kirk, are you sure you're not me?

The winner.

Isn't Nike releasing those self-lacing, BTTF shoes this year? Reckon this could be related to that?

You're probably right. I really like it and wish it stuck around.
