I demand that everytime someone praises the Office or Extras they strongly note Stephan Merchants writing.  Everything Gervais writes that Merchant isn't involved with is notably shittier.

Past Lives was so slow and kinda boring. You kept waiting for more to happen and it never did. It wasn’t a terrible movie, but it was far from great. I would never watch it again.

Glad to see Polite Society getting some love, that was excellent and it really seemed to fly under the radar. On the other hand, I’m a little surprised to see a C-tier Anderson film like Asteroid City make the list.

I quite like The Final Cut. I know there were three more albums after that, but it always felt like a very personal coda to something grand.

One would think that the prerequisite for a comedy show would be, y’know, actual comedy. This just seems like a whole bunch of insufferable Gen-Y “it’s funny because it’s not funny, and that’s funny” abused irony.

I hate to say it because I love found footage movies, but The Outwaters sucked.

Oh my god. The Outwaters and Skinamarink are trash. Both those movies are overhyped nonsense. If I had to pick one to watch again, it would be Skinamarink. The Outwaters is easily one of the wort horror movies I’ve seen all year.  I can’t believe it made this list except for the fact that it is a horror movie so…

It was ignored by most of the entertainment press and got less than half the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes that the first season got. One of the best shows…
