This thing would make a fantastic pizza delivery vehicle. Imagine a warming box in the back with the rear seat removed...bet you could stack a dozen pies in there!

My company has a mandate that says anything within a 5 hour drive of my home = rent, not fly. Normally this is great, because I am a standard-issue Jalop who enjoys a few days in something new(ish) to perform my own reviews. National Rental Car is great, cool cars, selection is always stocked at Dulles Airport. Grand…
Having lived in Europe for a few years and seeing these hideous SSangyongs here and there, I have to ask...WHY? Why would anyone bring one of these to the States for such a project? There are better uses for your time, which is likely what this seller realized after this had arrived.
Here’s a $2500, 75k mile example south of DC. Any takers?
Friend, speaking from experience your best bet is going to be the late 90s K1500 Suburbans.
Every bone in my body is telling me to CP this, just because of what it is.
I’m a simple man, I see a Swedish longroof with a 5-speed and I hit NP.
It sounds like that Datsun is powered by a small swarm of miniature bees!
Going to have to agree with the rest of the peanut galley here, this should really have been a three-way grudge match free-for-all with the Blazer as well. Therefore I will state for the record:
Resisting the urge to click NP...this one is only a “good deal” based on how the US market feels about these. Uber cool and would love to build/wheel, but the fact that this one can sell for $20k+ just because the G55, G63, and G65 exist makes my brain hurt.
This is a nice example, but not $19,500 nice. Would love to hoon for a few thousand bones less. CP.
...the MTA nutcase, first of his name, breaker of chains, rider of rails, triggerer of brakes, here to make political statements and liberate passengers from the constraints of schedules. Long live the MTA nutcase!
Makes you wonder how long Subaru is going to build that ‘dang 2.5 N/A 4-banger. No real complains about it (wife and I are on our second), just stating an obvious question.
Oops, should say “...interesting idea *for someone* whose dream...”
This is a cool project and an interesting idea whose dream has always been to have a diesel USDM 3rd gen 4Runner. I can appreciate going the extra mile and adding dashboard indicators.
Mario! Resist the puffs! Don’t get sucked in!
Starting off the week with a solid NP. Anything under 3 grand is near-throwaway cash for a car, and this one may actually be workable down closer to the $2,000 mark. Unmolested Radwood car with a Mazda V6 and stick? NP all day!
This is a rare car, but not $5,300 rare. Clean and well-kept, and $3,300 seems like a righter price. Price not justyfied, CP.
Glad to see these guys with a seat at the table alongside VW and Ford!
How about a modern, single-clutch paddle shifted automatic, such as the trans in the Aventador SV/SVJ? It’s an automatic, but the paddles still deliver the aggressive bump similar to the feeling of hard-shifting a stick? The dual-clutch transmissions are fast as hell but there is something to be said for the…
