Reality has been proven to have an incredibly liberal bias.

The 2.3L Duratec responds to mods and tuning incredibly well. Do you remember the Mastreta track-day car built in Mexico? That had a tuned 2.3L Duratec built by what was called Focus Sport out of SoCal.

A former coworker had one. He eventually went full stage 2 with a bespoke down pipe and upgraded clutch. That car was scarily quick.

Sadly no funds (in addition to time and talent/ability) to have a project car.
