I know how tires work. I have a set of winter wheels and tires for my current DD. The issue is that the cost of buying another set of wheels/tires along with buying the car puts it outside my budget.

I dislike this dealer, and they have a horrible reputation, so I am not at all surprised I haven’t heard anything.
Ordered. As in put money down and was told that VW would build my car.
I would be all for that on my terms. Not when I just need to get to work.
I joined, but am not all that active. I don’t even have an order number.
I did order one. I haven’t heard anything from the dealer letting me know when I will get it.
2nd Gear: No shit. I tried to order a 4-door GTI S with the PP in blue and I haven’t heard a damn thing from my dealer about when it will be built.
Because, getting a used one is sketchy given what kind of vehicle it is, which leaves me with buying a new one. Adding tires immediately puts the price of the whole purchase outside my budget.
Yes, but then I am not just buying the car, I am also buying all the mods required to make the car drivable year round as well. That puts it out of my budget. And getting used doesn’t interest me on a car like that. Unless you are 100% certain the previous owner did not abuse it, I would want a new one to be sure it…
Ohio. We have winter. So, yes I would worry. I would also have two sets of wheels with season-appropriate tires if I were going to get a BRZ, which I’m not because I did not like it after driving it on several occasions.
The BRZ. It is too small for me, and I hate how the rear steps out without much provocation. Now, I could very well be driving it wrong, having only driven FWD cars. But for use a my DD, I do not want to have to worry about it sliding around on me without warning.
Neutral:
Yeah, no shit. I volunteered at the NMUSAF, I am well aware of where the Valkyrie is located.
Was that woman trying to hurdle the bike? It looks like she is going to land on her face in the sand.
I prefer this version of the Sienna ad.
I bought one of those off ebay a while ago. It sits above my desk at work daring me to do something naughty all day...
Hazy is quite incredible to explore. Nothing competes with the NMUSAF for sheer size, but for outright variety the Smithsonian galleries win hands down.
That’s fair.
Well, you could have just said that whenever you visit the museum there are always too many snotty kids in the way when you’re trying to study the open cockpits.
