i disagree. 1stly, i was into MAY more sports than my younger brother. he was happy to stay in front of he computer all day while i did every sport i could try (would've done more, but my mother was convinced i shouldn't because i was girl and sighed heavily every year i asked to do soccer).

Also, those of us that are post-chemo/post BMT who have gone into menopause in their 30s, it helps regulate hormones for bone health, to decrease chances of osteoporosis later on. Also very important: libido! I had to learn this the hard way when I stopped taking birth control for a year.
