There was a point, somewhere around 2006, where I got so sick of George W. Bush’s voice that I just couldn’t stand to listen to him, and I’d mute the TV or turn off the radio whenever he was speaking. I’ve been at that point with Trump since about January of 2016.

This is what frustrates me so much about all the “rich pretty white people have problems too!” narratives. Yes, of course rich pretty white people have problems. They just don’t have the myriad problems caused by not being rich, white or pretty.

Tapped Out! It’s one of those “collect things and build your city” kind of freemium games, so it’s really a game in name only — no strategy, no way to win or lose. But fun and very addictive, if you’re one of those people who gets into collecting mode and needs to get everything.

Although now I can’t figure out how to get OverDrive to work. When I click to download the eBook, it says it’s downloaded, but I can’t find it anywhere and I have no idea how to get it into iBooks. Help!

I got a new iPad yesterday! I’ve never had one — I just use my iPhone 6 for everything. But this is amazing. I can finally really see my Simpsons game! Reading is so much easier! I have a keyboard to use for comments! How did I live before this?

Racing actually is quite dangerous for greyhounds, but also, as with backyard breeding, the animals are routinely treated horribly because the people involved wouldn’t make a profit if they gave them adequate care. The ASPCA has a quick overview of why it’s terrible for the dogs. An excerpt:
