Is it not possible to show support for them and denounce the epidemic of police brutality at the same time?

is the Sharpton rally happening in class? is it in the kids' faces? The shirts are.

I notice that most of the people in these pictures are women. Probably a few of them are married to cops or have parents or siblings who are cops and decided to jump on the bandwagon for that reason in ~solidarity without even for a SECOND considering how it might make their students (or hell, even other coworkers!)

yeah, ugh.

A district spokesperson told ABC News that they were open to other suggestions for how to handle dress code violations.

yeah when I was a teacher if we had done anything remotely political like this we'd be sent home. and there was no wearing of t-shirts ever anyway unless it was Friday and it was a school t-shirt.

If I get mayo I'm sending it back. uggggggggggggh.

I'd love to wear clothes that are flattering to my figure and appropriate for my personality, but they stop making those clothes around size 12. so...

It happened because contrary to popular modern belief in this country, the USA did not descend whole from a cloud, borne in a basket by Jesus.

The conservatives like to say that everyone should plan ahead. If you get cancer you should have eighty thousand dollars in the bank to cover it because no one should help you out. You should be completely self reliant. If your kid gets sick too bad. You should not have had kids if you can't save for every possible

The argument is always:

A few years ago I went with some college kids on a trip with a student group for a school function (need to be vague here). Part of this trip involved a day at Disneyland. Because it was a school function the kids got per diem for each day of the trip. Some of the kids spent all their per diem on alcohol and ate

I heard from an article on Cracked that many sick kids will ask the Fairy Godmother to cure them.

And a lot of people just don't want someone to recline because they want more space for their Dell so they can finish that very important sales deck.

Those kinds of seating ARE different. My car's seat doesn't force my head forward onto my chin and at work, I can actually get up from my chair when I need to without bothering anyone. Seats at a movie theater are generally wide and comfortable and they recline somewhat; there are wide spaces between rows.

Back pain is misery.

God was SO UPSET over his lack of Christmas spirit that he sentenced a little boy's mom to DEATH ON CHRISTMAS EVE to remind him that the day is about love.

It's part of the rules for the job you signed up for. "No talking to the celebrities." You don't like that, don't sign up for the job.

That's not how racism works. You can't be "racist" against someone if they are a member of the racial group with power and you are not.
