To put it into perspective, an E46 330Ci makes only 15 less horsepower than a US-spec E36 M3. We really got shafted here in the US.

Pretty good result considering it wasn’t exactly the best E36 M3 to start with... These are growing on me over the years. Always lurked at E46 M3 instead, but the E36 is a reasonnable cheap daily driver option... Certainly cheaper to run than a 30 + year old turbo rotary :)
