The part in the video where that one character is just droning on some unending dialogue while another NPC is groaning “uuughh..I cant bear it.. make it stop!” had me laughing so hard.
I have no edgy takes to contribute to this. Just how hilarious that particular part of the video was.
I strongly disagree with this take. I’ve found Civ VI to hold me far more than Civ V ever could. I have nearly four times as many hours logged in the former as the latter.
Been working in the corporate world for over 20 years now and I will tell you one thing I learned. Avoid companies that do big expensive work retreats and holiday parties. For many reasons. Every company I have worked for or with who did them all seemed to have the absolute worst cultures. Bosses use those parties as…
“I would say it it’s not it’s not a live service,”
Wow. Someone in the depths of Sony’s R&D program never let that idea go, it seems.

Qlap on, Qlap off?
QAnon On. QAnon off the Clapper.
That font did remind me of espn2 and when MTV had its Jock Jamz and RockNJock Jamz!
That’s pretty cool! Even as someone who is fascinated by cancelled games (and loves arcade sports games), this is my first exposure to this! And definitely a product of the time as the UI and presentation is basically a straight rip of the ESPN2 television elements at the time (bright “painted” look, lots of lowercase…
This feels like the stock market equivalent of Eve Online. I’ve still no clue what’s really going on, but find it amusing to read about it all the same.
“how dare you use what we have been doing for years agaisnt us!” -Wall Street
That’s overpriced, uncomfortable, under-stuffed pillows. I picked one up in a Bed, Bath and Beyond and thought “Sixty bucks? For THIS??”
