I love Torch’s taste in cars, but I always find it unnerving when he has the best answer in these columns. Given the Michael’s odd parameters I think he does in this case.

All of these deeply discounted Stingers seem to be the lower powered base model--that probably has something to do with it.

I have only had the opportunity to drive on the Mulholland Highway once, and I was was nearly creamed by a Countach sliding sideways through a blind hairpin. Though it did scare the bejesus out of me I was mostly just impressed by the spectacle of it.   

If this was an interesting version of the 3000gt I would say go for it. But it isn’t, so I won’t.
