All of these deeply discounted Stingers seem to be the lower powered base model--that probably has something to do with it.
I have only had the opportunity to drive on the Mulholland Highway once, and I was was nearly creamed by a Countach sliding sideways through a blind hairpin. Though it did scare the bejesus out of me I was mostly just impressed by the spectacle of it.
If this was an interesting version of the 3000gt I would say go for it. But it isn’t, so I won’t.
This is a pickup I’d actually want to own.
I’m not entirely convinced you didn’t make this up.
For some reason I can’t generally sleep on planes. I once took a direct flight from Newark to Narita with a 6 hour layover before heading to Seoul. That was a hella long day. This is so—
Cool retro bodies are what it would take to get me into an electric car. This thing looks great, and it would fit right in in Gattaca. Personally I would hold out for the electric Lancia Fulvia.
It would be brilliant if it worked, but as your own article pointed out Germans are having difficulty doing it correctly. If they have difficulty sorting it out it’s utterly hopeless to think that American drivers (who struggle with much simpler things such as lane usage/selection, merging, safe following distance,…
The correct term is Massholes, but they don’t seem to know any better because for some dumb reason it has been (until recently) legal for them to do so.
