What are the five best game-in-development codenames of all time?

My internet comment section instincts are telling me I have to point out that if Amazing Jam 2001 is supposed to ground this world as taking place in 2000, mobile games are hardly in a state to be ported to console, which also wouldn’t have VR. Why I would point that out under a lighthearted comedy article, I do not

From what I’ve seen, when you buy a deck it has a unique randomly generated cardback. so you can’t just take a card that says “Anna the queen of ice” on the back and stick it in your “Johnny the Martian Godfather” deck - the backs will have different writing/logos/colors on them.

Thank you for the information. I personally am already familiar with Crunchyroll and Funimation, and my concern was more for others who may come across this article. AFAIK, there’s currently no anime-specific division of Kotaku (like Steamed, Snacktaku), so the article is readily served to anime fans and non-fans

This article’s a bit hard to follow for a curious outsider. There’s no explanation in the article for who crunchyroll, funimation, or HiDive is, and VRV is described as a “bundle service” - a bundle of what? The source Variety article handles this a bit better: “Anime distributor Funimation,” “VRV, the

Gotemmmmmmm

I’d like to throw “Hidden in Plain Sight” into the mix. works great as a party game due to spectators being able to “play along” with the actual players!

This is the most gamer reply possible well done

So proud of Ohio for being total nobodies AND YET one of the few teams to have at least 2 team fights and a 100% record (both against Michigan). It’s not much but it’s nice to see.

But... playing to win, everybody should just join the winners and get the prizes.

Jesus Christ, thank you so much. The last time I saw somebody other than me make a reference to this was probably back in the Joystiq days. I just want you to know that despite the wall of people missing this one, some of us uphold the old ways. Respect.

...? If somebody made “Flappy Note 7" it’d run afoul of what you’re concerned with. A copyright strike against a youtube video would necessitate the video or audio presented is itself not owned by the uploader. Rockstar or Take Two could probably lay a valid claim to the footage of their property, but not Samsung.

*afai

Mob, whose psychic powers make him nearly invincible, is a total shrimp. So when he’s asked to consider joining the ESPer club, he instead joins the “body improvement” club for weight-lifters. For me, the delivery didn’t quite hit there.

Is that the artists’ apartment above the blockade? There’s a vent to your right that should get you where you’re going. Doesn’t really address your issue with the design, I know.

Aren’t you trying to censor this preview then?

Thanks you for the fighting game coverage Kotaku! :D

If only base-game Minecraft had compelling progression and goals.

Don’t even TOUCH the sidequests your first time through the game. Hell, don’t even touch them your first NG+. Not worth it at all. That second NG+ tho.... well.

The whole spoilers-are-awful attitude lately is a recent invention of Hollywood to sell movie tickets, if you think about it. In a lot of ways, knowing what you’re in for allows a more thorough dissection of a given piece of media.

What’s the THIEF for?
