It's a joke about how the original myst doesn't really give you the details on why they're trapped in the books until the very end, and even then it doesn't flesh it out very far. The "mumble mumble" is supposed to be analogous to the game glossing over that bit of the plot.

If even only 1% of people who check an offline channel see the host and click through, that is infinitely more than could do so without the host. Twitch is already notorious for its poor discoverability, so even minor moves against discoverability are compounding a known issue, rather than fixing it.

I think “slapdash” might be the correct word for the title.

For the uninitiated: the common five-star characters have a 50% chance to appear, as a group. Keqing does not herself have a 50% chance.

Put another way, when you are rolling for a specific five-star, there’s a 50% chance of getting that character, and a 50% chance of pulling from pool of “common” characters (which are

YES YES YES. You are brilliant and a person of culture!

Unfortunately because Twitch has no discoverability tools, so users rely on the ability to send their viewers to other streamers. Maybe if they had their act together in that regard they could scale the raid feature down, but that still wouldn’t stop people from organizing the raids outside of the built-in feature.

“not saying its [sic] good/bad” it’s bad actually, hope this helps.

when he said they are the worst people in the world that probably also means something different in spain

My friend got one last week and set it on its side, and we immediately put the disc in the wrong way. It just seems reasonable to put the disc in so the data side is facing toward the machine, like in any other console.

Something I thought would be mentioned here is that the flamethrower appendage is on Link’s *left* arm, and appears to be a shield rather than a “weapon”.  Neat!

Fighting games are typically peer-to-peer so when a disconnect happens nobody is “still connected” to the session. Thus you can usually only tell a habitually quitter by a pattern of frequent disconnects. Killer Instinct had a rage quit “jail” that worked by what percent of games you had disconnected in during a

Conspiracy theory: what if it’s the creator of Dragon Hoard trying to drum up attention ;>_>

when you’re mashing out nonsense you take the time to shift one finger up and down a row repeatedly?

oh no they spoiled the basic premise of the game

As an Indian woman, she is not black.

If I get a job at mcdonalds, is it not a real job because it doesn’t have any of that? What are you talking about? A professional streamer is of course somebody who streams to make a living.

It is being silly. Although I think you are the only one saying that here - the “ban this character” joke refers to the character’s random spell list, and the “my main is countered by this character” comment is unrelated.

I feel a little under-informed by the article. The text never tells me what the connection between the character and the noodles are. There’s a commercial included, but is that the only one? Is it especially popular (the youtube version here doesn’t have an especially high view count). Actually, I am just assuming

Every speedrunning community uses their own rules. Often when an in-game timer is available, that’s what’s used - Goldeneye is another popular example of this. A couple people in the late 90s must have decided they were going to go with the in-game timer for convenience and it stuck.

Pay close attention to this line: “But here’s the thing:” This phrase foretells a conclusion that runs contrary to the tone of the previous statements.
