This is the ultimate demonstration that the Germans are not what they used to be. Remember when BMW claimed that their orangey-red backlighting was shown to reduce eyestrain? And now look at their interiors as well, with all sorts of colored lighting everywhere. So either that claim wasn’t true, or they don’t give a

Does this seem like a return to (or improvement upon) form from the 3rd gen TL?

My dad, grandfather, and aunt all had Celebrities, and my aunt’s was even a wagon. Hers was a 1988 in light blue and she had it until about 1996. I have so may fond memories of that car and this example is pristine and in great colors. If it had space for it I would honestly want it myself! Perfect car to tootle

This reminds me of a rendering I saw years ago for the redo of the Emporium Building on Market Street in San Francisco, and for the store COACH they had changed it to say COOCH. My friends and I had a good laugh about that one

Seriously. I also see a little Lexus in the side view. The design equation here is:

It looks like a mix of the Aerostar and the GM ‘dustbuster’ vans - Chevy Lumina, Pontiac Trans Sport, Oldsmobile Silhouette.

Haha - in seriousness though it seems crazy to take a pickup that isn’t selling well, slap the word Texas on it and charge TWO THOUSAND more for it?

Beautiful GMT400 Suburban!

When looking at Jalopnik on Safari on my iPhone, I can only see the first comment. Clicking view more does nothing. It also doesn’t think I’m logged in, unless I go to the user icon on the upper right and click it - then the page opens and shows I’m logged in and shows me my notifications. But if I click on a

Yea, if you view the scene assuming that they are standing directly in front of one another and looking at each other, I can see the ‘weird perspective’ - but that’s not that’s happening. They’re standing next to each other and in that context it’s not a weird perspective at all. Oh the internet!

I’m kind of worried about Raph. All of his articles these days are so negative, it’s like he’s become incredibly unhappy. I used to enjoy them, especially his videos because he seemed to radiate this positivity, but the opposite comes through in his articles now and it’s really off-putting.

Catie - Raven is gorgeous. Sorry if i missed this but is she a black German Shepherd? She looks just like our sweet girl (a Black GSD) Charlie when she was young. She just turned 4.

Moreno Valley may be odd, but let’s not forget it’s adjacent to Perris, CA where this happened...

I disagree - the rear is too steeply raked and the wheels are comically large, making it look like there’s a rubber band of material clinging to the outside which I really dislike.

Car and Driver recently rated the E63 wagon ahead of the RS6 Avant in a comparison test so probably better to go that route anyway.

Honda has had a semi-similar push/pull situation for its gear selector for years now. I don’t really see why this is controversial?

Ha, not a dumb comparison that’s totally what it looks like. Just not very dignified/upscale.

There is something about the side view of the Wagoneer that doesn’t look right/proportional to me. The shape of the windows and their trim just looks off for some reason. It almost makes this look like a minivan from the side. I have nothing against minivans but this isn’t one. Great interior, needs work on the

Agree 100%. We’re not at the point yet where EVs should be taxed more, when you’re giving them a tax break as well.

The original vehicle factory in Fremont is not the ‘Gigafactory’. The Gigafactory is in Reno.
