Because these guys aren’t drafted. Look at what the top draft picks get paid each year. Then look at the cap for what international amateurs get. The Orioles COULD pay 10 mil to one of their draft picks, they can’t for this kid. That is why the rules need to change.

I actually like Sidewinders. They should have gone with that. Although really, they should have dropped the whole notion of banning gambling terms and made them the Vegas Aces or Vegas Blackjacks.

You could also use the Matsuda method of getting two pokemon from differing regions that are also not your own and breed them. Then it is around a 1 in 600 or so chance to hatch one. I used that method to get an entire team of shinies in my Pokemon Y game.

The best part about that is they actively punish players who skip with minor injuries. If you mis the ASG with an injury, you are forced to miss the next regular season game for your team no matter if you are healthy or not. Happened last year to Ovechkin I believe.
