In all fairness, she kind of is fanservicy, but not nearly as bad as some shows today. She also kind of owns it and has a personality that fits with it though, so it works.

I keep seeing people say this, but in my (probably minority) opinion Season 1 of Korra was easily the best and the rest all kind of sucked in comparison. Don’t get me wrong, I loved some of the characters (especially Varric) but the arcs of seasons 2, 3 and 4 were just boring.
