If you give her proof of a concord kept, she has more dialogue related to Gwyndolin and Aldritch. All of which is very sad.

If Dark Souls has one point, it is that nothing you ever do truly matters. We are all just murderers out there.

I like that better. And now that I look back that makes incredible sense.

Her name is Yorksha and she lives at the top of a building in Irithyll. You can get there by lowering the Anor Londo staircase (the one that gets you to Anor Londo) and then walking off the top of it towards a building. There is an invisible bridge. I don’t want to spoil it too much, but she has been imprisoned there

There is also one more throwback to DS1 in that area. If you are part of the Fingers of Rosaria covenant, Ringfinger kills Rosaria and leaves a black eye orb. Which you bring to Anor Londo and invade his world to get the soul back.

I thought it was pretty obvious that the Demon Ruins were what is left of Izalith. I mean with all the tauros and capra demon corpses and the corpse of the spider lady and all.

Oh shit, when I first saw the Spider lady dead on the wall in the Demon Ruins I fucking cried like a little baby. Poor girl she didn’t deserve that.

The reason the boss looks like that is because it ate Gwyndolin. Hence why he looks like Gwyndolin. In case you missed that.

Did you meet his sister? Her story is also pretty sad.

My first reaction to seeing the boss was, “ WTF is that Gwyndolin?”

That is how a riposte works. The first hit takes some of the damage, and the follow up for that particular weapon does the rest. Most larger weapons have a two-step riposte.

It’s because the A team was working on Bloodborne at the time, so a different team created Dark Souls 2 than created both DS1 and DS3.

Eh, I expect his sword to hit in an arc around his front, so if I am that close I expect to get hit. I guess we have a different view of what the hitbox on that move is. I always expect that if I am close to an enemy when he attacks, I need to dodge right at the moment he attacks or get hit.

I know I’m probably in the minority here, but don’t pick up items an invader or co-op partner drops. That seems simple to me.

Didn’t dodge fast enough.

It took me two playthroughs of the original Dark Souls before I was finally able to realize this. The game is waaaay more fun when you just don’t care about souls.

Maybe they were just waiting for the Islanders to win a playoff series?

I just came here to say how much I love British accents.

I don’t believe I ever said that. Just said that when you die it is your fault for dying. Never said it was the best series ever.

I tend to laugh when it happens. I guess that is my coping mechanism. On a side note, you ever have it accidentally kick at the right time and give you a guard break of an enemy? That happened to me once and I almost cried I was laughing so hard.
