I don't think this really requires such rage. It seems a bit mixed-up - I'll agree that when I see something that says "empower mothers and daughters" my first thought isn't about building a pregnancy plan - but it's not necessarily harmful and the intent isn't malicious. At worst, it just needs to be relabeled, IMO.

So long as they promise not to lock them in once the ship starts sinking.

Wow, "perfect, Cheers-level good"? That's a sentence I take issue with, because Cheers was perfection, lol! My problems with the show stem from Andy Samberg's hamminess and the fact that I find his character annoying and not really likable - yet (I think the show will get there soon though) - as opposed to the rest

100% agree with everything about the Brooklyn 99 win. I love that show too but it owes a shit lot to Parks and Recreation, so much so that I was kind of hoping they would thank that show when they won. Also, as much as I love Brooklyn 99 it still isn't quite as good as Parks and Rec has been lately. They have been

Hey, don't lump all New York City feminists in with these assholes. We don't all have a chip on our shoulder that allows us to justify being jerks for no reason.

Soooo fucking judgy Jezebel. This is why I often back away slowly from this site nowadays.

This woman is a walking liberal punch line. What are the odds she's actually a satirist playing a joke on the inbreds that worship her 'patriotism'?

I really don't understand why men use "dicksucking" as an insult. I thought discksucking was a good thing? I'm sure many of these men would be none too pleased if their partners decided to stop sucking their dicks since it's such a bad thing.

I love when she smiles. Mary rarely smiles on that show, but MD is so pretty when she does.

This immediately came to mind when read the Busy Philipps story:

I just finished watching a story arc on EastEnders that's about 9 years old, where one of the more moronic characters was talked into an abortion (and pretty much everything else, because this character could seriously not make a single decision on her own) and it was pretty much exactly the way you describe TV show

And sometimes not even then, in my experience.

I made the mistake of reading about this on Yahoo... and then going to the comments. The victim-blaming is out in full force. (But what should I have expected from Yahoo?)

Love the fashions, love the model. They've come far from the homeless-bohemia chic days.

I visited London a few years back and was floored by the number of well-dressed young Brits vomiting in the streets on a Saturday night. A friend of mine who lived there at the time told me a common rule she would hear before going out was the "eating is cheating" rule.

That song was my favorite for literally YEARS. It's still one of my jams...

Zoe has proven that she is one of our most gifted actresses

Beautiful scenery, excellent cheeses, skiing, and now this? Vermont, you are calling my name. I can brave the cold temps if it means people will stay the fuck out of my uterus.

So are you saying overweight individuals have no self control?

Well considering the Democrats have been worse running the state, I can't say I blame them. Doesn't make Christie a good guy, but NJ's had slim pickins of late.
