Oh god, The Year My Voice Broke totally broke my heart, I loved that movie too (but did like Flirting better). I totally cried when the girl miscarries, that scene is so sad. I didn't realize it was supposed to be a trilogy though! I'm not holding out hope but a third film would be amazing.

Very good point. I developed super early, got my period at nine and had boobs already by then. I was the very first girl in my class to get it, it was super obvious too because we had a weekly swim class and once a month I would have to sit class out, alone. It was awkward as hell. Puberty sucks.

As a teen, I remember hanging out with a bunch of friends after school, male and female. One of the guys informed us at one point that he was picturing all the girls naked. I was wearing a winter coat, and still jokingly did a "cover up" with my arms. His response? "Makes no difference."
