Indeed - I do find myself rolling my eyes quite a bit at some of the content on this site lately.

Fair enough - I do wish the writer of this article could have articulated that as well as you did, because that's a fair criticism.
I concur. Sometimes I'll find myself still using the phrase "Kick his ass, Seabass!" when appropriate.
Um, Dumb and Dumber was funny. The Farrelly brothers aren't great - particularly lately - but they've done some funny stuff, and this whole article just seems too angry to take seriously (which is a shame, because this terrible-looking movie seems like a great thing to skewer). I'm sensing more animosity here than…
Heh, I caught it - well done.
This reminds of the time a girl on my dorm floor kept calling me the name of the other black girl on our floor, who was about a foot shorter and 50 pounds heavier than me. Good times.
This guy looks nothing like Morgan Freeman beyond a white beard and dark skin.
Well done, sir.
Very much so.
She's been using her family name for awhile now to advocate against abortion rights, often bringing up her famous uncle and claiming he would be pro-life. She has long shown that she has no shame and will continue using the name of her famous dead uncle to advance her agenda.
The right's attempts to portray Planned Parenthood as racist are usually more racist than anything they accuse PP of! As a black person who is also a former counter-protester against Catholic church groups at my local college PP, I know this to be quite true - let's just say there's a pretty big reason I never even…
Haha, well done.
I wonder how Rush Limbaugh would react if someone made the same point about 'stopping' him.
Easy. If you can pay you rent, pay your bills, and buy groceries, but don't have money left over after to eat out or go to a bar with friends, or buy booze and/or weed for home consumption, you are merely broke. If you cannot pay your rent and your bills, have children and you cannot afford to feed them and…
Lol, I really couldn't put it better myself.
You make a great point. Hell, I'll most likely watch it too (but on Netflix), and immediately regret wasting my time. I know it'll probably be bad, yet I still intend to watch it. I suppose that explains it right there.
Ha, excellent point.
I understand why Deen is defending her (even if it is in a warped way) - as an actor you're obligated to promote your movie and say good stuff about your co-workers, I get it. What I don't get is why people like the director were so enamored with her that he was willing to bend over backwards to accommodate her, all…
I agree with your last sentence, but I also believe that they use the tabloids when they need them, just like any other celeb. Again, I don't believe tabloids should be able to just make shit up, but I find her criticism somewhat disingenuous.
E! is where they got their start, but I think the tabloids definitely helped. Tabloid relevancy = big bucks when you have little else to offer the world.
