Who said it is? No one's denying that there are underlying issues here. But my point was that if asked to sympathize with anyone in this scenario, the brunt of my sympathies go to those who died at the hands of another, even if that other was mentally disturbed.

What? Your fractured sentences aren't making a point, can you just come out with it?

    Who says it does?

I don't disagree that we can consider all aspects here. But the original post focuses on the misery of the man who killed and barely even mentioned the woman killed. In this scenario, my sympathies are much more aimed at the innocent victims. As badly as one can feel for the plight of the perpretrator, we cannot

I don't think so, but please, what is the point as you see it?

Yeah, I don't know too many beggars that would call themselves "lucky" while using a coffee cup to hold their money.

This would actually be a cute wallet if they didn't insensitively frame it as 'homeless chic'.

    Haha, well done.

Gee Adam Levine, many would say the same about Maroon 5's horrendous music.

    I love you for this.

Agree. I have no idea what these people are talking about.

What happened to your brother is terrible, but what happened to his S.O. is worse. I have family members, close cousins of mine, who have had terrible, abusive childhoods and have committed similar acts, and it's tragic all around. But my compassion lies with the dead woman and the parentless child here, as they are

But who's doing the blaming here? Is it Lindy for pointing out the bullshit in the article, or the guy who tells men not to supplicate to women because men are "the rightful leaders", thereby implying that women's equality is responsible for the so-called emasculation of men?

I feel like this question comes up every time McFarlane is mentioned here. Some people just think his show is an unfunny rip-off of the Simpsons and that his idea of "comedy" is really just being a dick. Not liking Family Guy doesn't equal not getting the point of comedy.

Part of my complete breakfast. ;)

    Wait... this is real??

Lucky... I'm now single, but when I was with my boyfriend it was certainly on my list of Favorite Things.

    Haha, great minds.

I read the title only before clicking, and was all ready to come here and argue that morning wood is a real thing, dammit...

Can't sum it up better than that...
