I was excited to see if it was some fancy engine but just a ported and polished 2.3 that still was below 200hp? Meh.

I had a 97 I played with during my time with Evos and a Cobra without a gas sipper. The 97 was great but the front control arm rusted off literally. Ended up deciding to sell it and get a 2000 Insight which is basically a better version of the car.
The “Corn Demon” face looks a lot like the kind of guys that I will see driving these.
I want it to be another Evo. Handling best in class and straight line performance to embarrass V8's.
I used to love messing with the SRT8 Jeeps as well. Back when I had my modded Evolution X I used to love baiting them at stoplights and then leaving them behind with AWD 5500rpm clutch dumps.
Amazing what people will pay to get a $3500 supercharger installed on a boat anchor of an old V8.
Gallardo is literally the crappiest lambo and shouldn’t really be worthy of the name. 10 years ago when I was big into modding Lancer Evolutions we used to compare dyno sheets against that specific car because it’s bad power curves.
My favorite example is the V10 F350 gas engine which had cooling system design issues. Fords fix was just to retune the engine to run really rich to keep cool instead of admitting they undersized the cooling system for that truck. My friends truck when flashed by the dealer suddenly went from 17mpg to 10mpg and they…
For a second that reminded me of the Prisoner. Only it should have been white.
Move maybe?
After owning 2 Lancer Evolutions which had the same crappy comments thrown against it too, they are totally wrong.
That’s fine if this is about doing things safe then let’s remove the money aspect so the conflict of interest goes away.
You never just want dependable.
Biggest issue is people not correctly placing themselves by the speed of their flow.
Wow so even with a horrible 20% conversion rate the liquid fuel is so much better and so much more dense that it can drive the car on that 20% and keep you warm with the other 80% and still recharge instantly and out-range the electric vehicle.
Back when I got my Evolution and regular V8's were 4.6's making 300hp I used to always joke with my friends about how if other cars made 150hp/liter they would be making 600hp+ from just an engine double the size of my 2.0.
R35 GTR. Would have been my daily a decade ago but I skipped the auto.
Just needs a manual trans and I would have had one a decade ago. Still prefer Evos over these for the manual.
You havent driven a diesel then, a gasser with 68hp is gutless until 4000rpm or more when it finally gets close to max torque and 5000ish for that full 68hp.
Part of me likes the small pistons of a 1.1 four, I daily a 4valve 1.0 three making 68hp and it sings up in the higher rpm.
