You can’t get a monocoque on a $300,000 race car, yet my crappy 2000 Honda Insight is an Aluminum Monocoque and didn’t cost anything beyond mid $20s new. Still totally rust free because it’s hand welded Aluminum. 1800lbs of handling goodness.

I’ve never raced but would love to. I’ve had multiple crazy cars but I have to say the day I drove my 2012 Evolution X off the dealer lot was pretty amazing after having a used IX and wished I could get one “pristine”.

Odd, I kinda wish they offered smaller motors for better economy. The 2.0 is fine. I’d be interested in a 1.6 if they’d offer it.

I was excited to see if it was some fancy engine but just a ported and polished 2.3 that still was below 200hp? Meh.

I had a 97 I played with during my time with Evos and a Cobra without a gas sipper. The 97 was great but the front control arm rusted off literally. Ended up deciding to sell it and get a 2000 Insight which is basically a better version of the car.
