This should be on Foxtrot Alpha. Just because this has a truck in it doesn't mean it belongs on Truck Yeah. I read and enjoy both columns btw, not trying to put down this one.
I cannot agree more with everything in this post.
Yes except that running enough boost to make 1400 HP would destroy the engine after just a few laps. They'd run a few qualifying laps and then toss in a new, lower boost engine for the race.
The way that thing was squirming all over the track.... oh jeese!
Doctors do talk like this. Doctors are regular people like you and me, except that they're a lot more educated than the average person. Being a doctor doesn't suddenly make you some prim and proper, uptight, dead serious professional without a sense of humor or personality. They just have to be serious during their…
The one Hamilton was promised was an XP Prototype with special lettering on the sides in front of the rear wheels. You can barely make it out in the picture you linked, but I have a much larger version where you can clearly see the markings. So that one's the one Hamilton could have gotten if Vettel hadn't become a…
So this is going to be a legitimate road car that's also built like an LMP car and will be taken racing in the GT class. I can see how this could be very competitive in the GT classes.
This is amazing!
CoTD.

They've gotten really lazy, and don't seem like they're really trying very hard to hide the scripting anymore. The show is so predictable now that it's painful.
Nope, still boring.
By that argument all cars that share the same subframe or basic architecture are all exactly the same car. Is the Venom GT based off of a Lotus? Yes. Does it use some Lotus parts? Yes. Is it registered as a Lotus? Yes, but only to make it road legal in the U.S. As far as parts sharing, very little actual Lotus…
Okay so you call it reliable, then go on about the many ways you can fix it's oil leak problems. I'm sensing an issue here.
Way better looking for sure.
This is like Jackass for cars.
Patel left the NSX's six-speed manual gearbox stock. That's good because I don't see how you can improve upon a shifter that's basically perfect. Perfect heft, perfect shift length, no hunting around for gears. Honda has always made some of the best gearboxes in the business and this is among their finest work.
