Definitely. There are exceptions, but overall the V6 sound ain't the best. The F-type's actually reminds me of an inline 6. And yeah, Alfa's is pretty awesome. A lot of people argue the VR6 in the Mk 4 Golf sounds good, but I'm indifferent on it.

Some of the older ones are alright. I think the biggest problem is really the fact that most V6's don't make a very nice exhaust sound. Induction noise is another thing. Honda knows how to make a V6 SCREAM with induction noise.
