Oh man, I can’t say I like wagons (I’m a fastback junkie) but that actually looks pretty good! My dream build is to stuff the guts of a new Miata under a fastback RX-3, basically a MiataX-3 monster. It won’t be easy or cheap, and is probably impossible, but it’s my favorite automotive idea to date.
And now I’m jealous that you have an RX-3.
I love all these “spent beer grain solves ‘x’ problem” articles. Feeding cattle, treats for dogs, clean water, and I’m sure I’m missing at least one other thing. It’s amazing that the craft beer market can do so much and be so sustainable.
Actually the seed oil comparison is pretty good. I was thinking about the kiwi seed oil I use in products I make this whole time. If those tiny seeds can be pressed to make gallons of product I guess anything tiny can be processed with enough effort.
Oh for sure, and you can check my logs as I’ve discussed exactly that on another recent article. I’m just wondering how this process works and the sheer volume of insects required. We’re talking billions to make very small amounts, which is crazy. I wonder what that process is like.
That was my next question. How is this more sustainable? Like, sure, bugs reproduce like crazy so their easy to get. But they’re tiny. The scale of this would be huge.
TIL: Insects apparently have fat.
Weird. I just do the crumple method and my chips last at least a week or more just fine. I wonder if it’s a brand thing?
This might sound weird, but my mom actually discovered the perfect way to reheat pizza and it really does work. Put the slices on a baking sheet into a cold oven and set it to 350 degrees. Once it dings to let you know it’s fully pre-heated, take the pizza out. This has worked every time I’ve done it without fail.…
Haha yeah, I was 17 and it was my first loan. I paid roughly $200 a month on it.
I did this as a teenager when my dad suggested it. I only needed something like $2500 to get my third car (first was garbage and second got totaled by a truck failing to stop at a red light) and I could’ve gotten a shorter loan on such a small amount, but to keep the payment safe I took out a 3 year loan. Paid it off…
I’ll be honest, I hadn’t really looked at the picture of the product. That being said, while that does look good enough, people are stupid. Cultured vegan doesn’t scream it’s not real butter to a stupid person. I think that’s the main issue.
This makes it pretty cut and dry. Both sides can say whatever they want, but the FDA is pretty clear on this, so the label has to say “Butter Product” just like certain cheeses aren’t really cheese by definition and can’t be called cheese without another term thrown in to distinguish it.
I apologize if that’s how that came off. I’m legitimately curious. The goal, if I’m understanding it correctly (I’m probably not, though) is to reduce the amount that is eaten so as to reduce the amount of cows being produced, because cows produce greenhouse gases. If you look at it this way, the goal of alternative…
I’ve always wondered this about meat alternatives. If everyone switched to plant based meats as a way to combat climate change by removing the meat industry, what happens to all the cows we still have? That’s a lot of surplus stock. And the only way to positively affect climate change is to get rid of the source, so…
I’m having a hard time choosing between Electabuzz and Umbreon. Umbreon has a cool design and is an absolute tank, but I love to give Electabuzz the elemental punches and name him Mr. Punchy. He is surprisingly devastating against most elements. My head cannon is that he has some anger issues and just punches…
That’ll do!
Thank you for taking this serious, now get out while you’re still safe. The others are running with this.
Oh god, it’s gotten enough attention that it’s the third comment now. And I actually got a serious answer from someone haha what have I done?
