I ate at one a few years ago that was pretty new and tried to look a lot more upscale like every other fast food chain is doing now. It had a dining room and even a bar with beer.

I think I remember that, but wasn’t it to a much larger scale? Didn’t they make like a jet engine/swamp fan powered car?
Well, I had two design ideas. The lower cost one was just a vent that just allowed the air to escape, no fan or assistance. The more complex, and honestly less likely design, included a small fan to help blow the air out as it was sucked in, thus adding a small amount of thrust on top of the reduction of air…
This was based on a line I heard a long time ago, but never actually verified, so I have no clue if this first part is actually true. I heard that the guy that came up with the little tab on the rear view mirror got rich off that tiny piece of plastic because every car has one.
This thread is already massive and I really don’t want to add to it, but I feel you deserve a response because you provided the best examples, which Challenger openly ignored. I read through this entire shitshow and it was extremely painful. I’m not responding to him because he’s clearly a nut, but it does amuse me…
Neutral: “Your contract was canceled.”
These were a mild dream car for me early in my driving career. Now, I have a mild ‘treat it like a classic and restore one with a bigger engine in like ten years’ desire. My mind is weird, man.
I feel the same way. Going to the store doesn’t make me nervous. I don’t even get nervous if people get too close to me. I do try my best to adhere to the rules, but it seems whenever I go to the store, no one else is as cautious. I will dodge people if it’s an option, but that’s mostly so I don’t make anyone nervous.…
Yeah, I don’t subscribe to Funimation, so I hate when they get a bunch of shows. I have figured out a trick to watching the shows, just with commercials, so I can watch them, but it’s a bit of a hassle. Crunchyroll not getting Kaguya-sama again is really disappointing.
My HOA was $185 a month when I moved in. I haven’t been here even 4 years yet and it is now $233 a month. What does it cover? Trash (but not water, which the listing said it did), gardening, snow removal, the pool/tennis courts, general grounds keeping and other boilerplate stuff.
This is really weird.
I had to scroll too far to find this. I’m pretty tall (6'2-3") and fit quite comfortably in my 86. I’ve seen plenty of people taller than me say they fit as well. For upscale, he can get a top level BRZ for his budget.
Hmmm, I started a small business towards the end of last year and set a ‘make or break’ budget for it. I’ve since blown past the normal budget and am close to that break point. I told myself it was fun experiment and I didn’t mind losing the money I put in, but I would not save it if it failed because I don’t want to…
Did we say “Maybe next year will be better...” in both 2018 and 2019? At this rate the world will end in 2021.
*Sigh* I don’t think even the worst people alive today deserve that comparison. Such a stretch.
Hahaha okay, this got a legit laugh out of me.
Oh man, that plus everything else that could happen. A month doesn’t sound like very long, but at the same time, billions of people staying away from it for any amount of time is bound to cause some change. That’s a very curious thought.
Can we add the trillions of innocent germs we’ve murdered in all our sanitizing efforts to his spreadsheet? This must be a microscopic apocalypse to all the normal stuff germs and viruses out there.
Same. I just came to this realization myself this morning. I’m still getting paid, just working from home (came to the office today just to see and I’m alone here). Extra money is always nice, but I definitely don’t need it. I’ll probably hunt around for a good cause and donate at least some of it. It could also be…
My first thought as well. This seems quite different than people getting trapped by a dead battery. At least you can still open the window and escape that way. My claustrophobia is triggered not by tight spaces, but being locked in a given space. Being trapped in elevators is a pretty significant fear for me. A car…
