Once again solidifying my belief that McLaren (or I guess Murray in this case) needs to sell crate motors, not that I could even afford one of those either, but still! 4.0L v12 that revs to an unholy 12.5k? Yes please.

What timing! Just this week I bought some Silk Oat Yeah in the vanilla flavor to use in my protein shakes. Not too long ago I bought some unflavored protein powder that a buddy swears by because it’s “the cleanest protein you can get” and while it is indeed surprisingly low in calories while still having 25g of Read more

So, I don’t drink liquor at the bar for two reasons, I only really know my limit with beer, and it’s expensive. $12 for a decent drink is just too much for my cheap mind. That being said, my rule for tipping depends on what I’m doing there. If I’m having a couple of beers, my standard has always been $1 per drink, Read more

Mine looked fairly correct, though I disagreed with my top two most listened two artists. I definitely have a station that includes Awolnation and Linkin Park, but I rarely listen to that station, which also includes Twenty One Pilots in a higher concentration than the other two. If I somehow listened to 25 hours of Read more

Probably, but I still don’t trust people enough for them to not mess it up, no matter how fool-proof.

Doesn’t even have to try and take out the bottom. If you’ve ever eaten an ice cream cone, you know that these things are probably prone to cracking along an unpredictable path. You are probably supposed to finish the coffee before you eat the cup, but a nibble of cookie between sips is tempting, until that nibble Read more

Still, those new numbers are probably not them rehiring the laid-off people, so I still do wonder where the laid-off people are going. Unless, all the people from Tesla went to Chevy and all the Chevy people went to Tesla. I’m not interested in what is and isn’t reported for the sake of shock value. I’m just curious Read more

Coffee ground fertilizer for coffee plants. Or would that lead to some sort of mad coffee disease?

True, I hadn’t considered that. They probably roast thousands of pounds of beans at any given time in the roasting facility, but it’s brewed everywhere. Probably hard to have separate bins and make sure employees know to not dump the grounds in the normal trash. So much more logistics.

I was thinking they would be using the grounds, but this works too. That being said, I can’t imagine they produce anywhere near as much chaff as they do grounds. I’m surprised catching floaty bits of chaff to use is better since it sounds difficult and like it would take a whole lot of coffee to get enough to use.

First: So it says they’re getting rid of 80k jobs for electric cars, but I’m curious just how many jobs have been lost total in the last couple of years. I feel like every couple of months another auto maker is laying off thousands. I wonder what that total looks like, and where are all these people going? That’s a Read more

Yup, I used to like the chicken bacon ranch, but several years ago I started to realize it just tasted weird and I could no longer eat it. I always chalked it up to cheap/inferior chicken.

I’ve actually never had french toast with syrup. My mom didn’t make it often, but when she did it was always just powdered sugar on top. At some point I’ll have to actually order it at a restaurant to get a different experience.

That’s exactly it. I’d have never been able to get an 86 without this plan, which is why it was a lease to begin with. I was able to cheat a bit and “afford” a car beyond my means one very specific terms. The issue now is, my dad’s retiring next year. No more leases. I have to buy what I have or give it back. He could Read more

Well, it’s actually a manager level benefit. My dad works for Toyota and this is one of his perks he’s allowing me to use. We’ve worked it out and I just pay him for it. The lease covers 30k miles driven a year, insurance, all oil changes and maintenance, and consumables like tires and windshield wipers. I don’t think Read more

Haha so, true story, not long after the initial release of the F-Type I shared a picture of an orange one on Facebook declaring it my “make it big” car. I already had the 86 at that time and my mom commented on the picture of the Jag saying it looked just like my current car.

It’s been a while since they’ve had an argument about it, so my details might be fuzzy. “Can’t find” might mean he’s picky, or more likely, that he can’t afford the one he wants. He also might have said as much, I just don’t remember. I’d ask for an update, but I’m not terribly interested in the conversation.

Ugh, make my choice harder why don’t you haha my 86 is orange and looks amazing with black wheels as well. I’m a sucker for orange.
