Oh, I remember, but it took a lot of convincing from my family and friends for me to watch 'Rose', and even then, it took until 'Dalek' before I acknowledged it was actually back, and good, and likely to last more than one series. Such was the burn of previous hope.

Maybe not everybody, but I was unbelievably cynical about this, having already lived through the disappointment of the movie. How wrong I was...

Hey guys, remember that shockingly bad film about the cheerleader who fights vampires? The one that sank without a trace at the cinema? Well let's make a tv show about it...

Sorry, Kinja fail. Edited to say I had all these thoughts about Fringe at the time too, now I can't believe I was that close-minded about it.

I would like this shirt very much please.

Okay, sure, if you're lucky you can wait it out for a month or so til they starve, but both this and '...Weeks...' convinced me that we'd pretty much be fucked as a race if this was a real thing. The infection moves so fast there's very few ways to contain it, and even when they do, all it takes is some chump with an

I've had people scream in my face for their film being interrupted by proper emergencies, I'd hate to deal with this story

They're going on Amazon for about £20 so I doubt it...

It's one of the Big Finish Short Trips anthologies - The Muses one. Katarina's story is based on Calliope. Can't seem to find a copy on line, but Tardis Data Core has a pretty good summary of it...

One of the most disturbing deaths in Who, IMHO. Have you read Katarina In The Underworld, Paradoxy? It broke my heart in many places....

Man, I thought this was gonna be like the time at my friend's dad's wedding where the photographer got all the gents in kilts to moon the camera (Braveheart had just come out, it was totally a thing). When we got the photos back, my mate shows them off to me as I help him make up the wedding album. Dead-centre in this
