To make 3 times the power it’d need around 3 times the amount (mass) of air flowing into the engines and along with it is also higher amount of heat to dissipate. I don’t know the specification of the stock intercooler, but if it doesn’t have enough cooling capacity, they’re gonna need a bigger one. I assume it’d be ea

I find it ridiculous that it need special tool just to find TDC and align the cams.

I never had the opportunity to drive such car. How annoying was it? As annoying as passenger trying to grab the wheel when they’re panic? I once had a passenger who did that, and since then I established a rule that no one touch the steering wheel except the driver.

They should give drivers more freedom on numbers design. It took me a while to remember the owner of #44 and #77, they have the same font and same flat color.

Pick your poison:

I’ve been noticing this for a while, Leclerc is fast but suck at chasing. From 16 races this year, only once he managed to finish higher than he started. I hope he gets better as he accumulates more experience.

Any news about Red Bull? Last time I heard Honda hasn’t decided if they will stay beyond 2020. If they decided not to, Red Bull will be engine-less, again.

While it might increase the overall VMT due to higher demands, I think autonomous vehicle could actually lower the empty VMT. Unlike human operated cars, there shouldn’t be competitions between AVs (at least within the same company). There’s no need to move the car empty except to pick-up and deliver passengers.

From formula1.com:

It’s not even Ferrari’s plan to pit that lap. Red Bull made the first call and Ferrari reacted to that, but it was too late to call Charles in. Of course they could’ve opt to let Seb out, but then Max would have a clean air on the outlap and potentially undercut everyone.

It’s just like the previous races which people call boring, except Mercedes and Ferrari’s role reversed.

One thing I learnt from playing KSP is to always have the center of mass (CoM) in front of the center of drag (CoD) for good stability. Apparently it’s also useful in many applications other than aircraft design.

It’s LHD, can’t be a JDM. Probably imported from Korea or something.

Heat (the energy) =/= temperature.

2019 Monza may be a blunder, but it’s actually pretty entertaining. It shows more of the human side of F1, which usually dominated by the machinery.

I wonder if placing the cameras as forward as possible would be better in eliminating blindspot than placing them at the usual location of conventional mirror.

Not to mention those flashy types who should be belong in The Ambers.

Yes, they share the same chassis. Cressida/Mark II was the base model, Cresta was luxury oriented, and Chaser was performance oriented.

Glad to see that Red Bull swap actually works well for both drivers. Gasly looks more comfortable in Toro Rosso’s car, and Albon certainly is capable to bring out his new car’s potential.

According to Wikipedia and whatever it’s source: The first functional supercharger was used in 1878 vs turbocharger in 1923. So it’s more likely that turbocharger is a turbine-driven supercharger than the other way around.
