They somehow managed to stay BFFs even when they were backing/serving opposite factions in a civil war. And everyone let them! They were one of the best parts of an amazing show.
Their friendship may have been why I started watching the show in the first place. Although then I moved and didn't have cable and still haven't finished it.

Even better, they are based on real people. They really existed.
