I’ve waiting for a full reprint, hopefully digitally, of the entire run as there was only one trade paperback I ever ran into ever. I read enough summaries online to be very interested though as the story seemingly closed out very well.

That was a pretty amazing episode. It’s worth noting that for years Disney banned that ep of Gargoyles from airing in syndication oddly because of the graphic and realistic nature of the content. The producers had writers pointed out for years that that was kind of the point.

Or not yet or well hidden. I keep thinking that maybe Star Labs was in Metropolis or it was yet to be renamed Star Labs from a Lex Corp subsidary that went away after Lex went to jail.

Howie Mandel actually.

It’s possible since towards the end people kept them in all sorts of conditions when they realized they were becoming super rare. It chills me a little that humans should get a second shot at coexisting with these guys though. We pretty much tormented the last of their kind to death. Quite literally since the last

Not necessarily. They’ve already established the JSA in Legends so it’s no longer an assumption that Ollie was the first superhero/vigilante. He might have just been one of the loudest. Others could have come and gone that might not have been mentioned.

Kind of reminds me of the Static fan made short a while back. It’s a common enough troupe that would be fun to watch all the same though.

This actually brings up some issues now that they’ve established a live action DC Universe on TV (one of many evidently). Supposedly the cross promotional value is worth it so even let it run a little under expectations. The crossovers alone could be worth it depending on who’s crunching the numbers and though these

Well that explains it.

You’re not nuts, it’s a common topic of bewilderment around here.

This a semi-repost of mine but I think it bares reminding people yet again.. since it’s kind of a precedence for what people are afraid of...

It bears to be reminded that once upon a time the U.S. had an Office of Technological Assessment, OTA, that worked directly for congress.

It’s Winn, and I think his romantic plot was one too many. For this ep anyway. I’m a fan for sure, but maybe save this one for a lesson on tolerance rather than romance and maybe consult an alien who isn’t Mon-El for help! Kind of glad he figured it out on his own though.

Nothing tops the old DCAU interpretation of everything. They’ve done far worst with live action though. And this is coming from a LC:TNAS fan who forgave a lot.

This was the most character depth they ever gave Mon-El and I’m still not into it. The little macho(?) naivety there does make me make sense of why some fans of the show are into him though. Still, bring on the Phantom Zone.

You’re absolutely correct that rare earths will all remain that. One of the main reasons that people build the way that they do is because they know the properties of those elements/compounds. In essence, we’re set in our ways. Some of the bioreactor research that I’ve heard of have generated new compounds with

She has too by now. Kara beat the alien detector on amnesty day but she cut herself in front of Cat before and Cat still suspected.

It’s a well known problem. It’s the same problem with the backing up beep that trucks use. No one can tell half the time where they’re coming from if it’s a sound you’re paying attention to it at all. I think it comes down to early cheap electronics for easy deployment. Their sound ranges were limited at the time.

Gotta admit, that still sounds reasonable... and that’s just depressing...
