He did set Kalinda up. The cop admitted to her that she "owed" Irish McLawyer, and later told Kalinda that it's too bad she likes him more than she likes Kalinda.
I swear to god, when I first caught sight of the wig the old lady in the convenience store, I thought it was Vicki Lawrence in her "Mama" character.
Yeah, she does make some odd acting choices, although I never thought she was a bad actress. Limited, perhaps, but I think the writers are playing more to her strengths this season. I used to have a hard time believing she and Nick were in love, but now their relationship and feelings for each other seem much more…
I always thought it was about a guy keeping track of how long it took for his girlfriend to talk to him after they had a fight. You could be right though. I don't know all the lyrics, so my interpretation might be way off.
Juliette was pretty adorable in this episode. She does cute and flirty well. I've never had as big an issue with her as a lot of other people have, but I like her more this season, now that she's in the loop and can add something to Nick's cases and the show in general.
Heh. And he had motivation for his behavior, which is more than I can say for some of the regular characters.
Sam and Dean should be more worried about Kevin's health, both physical and mental. They treat him like an indentured servant.
My favorite line was "Well I'll be a squirrel in a skirt!" I could not stop laughing.
Ugh. I'm with you on the bitchy ex-wife BS. I 'm OK with a little back story on Irving, even though I hadn't give his personal life much thought at all. But they didn't have to dig up that trope. She didn't have to be bitchy and irrational. I mean, how is giving Irving less time with his daughter going to help things?
About the same amount of time Dean was in Hell.
"I mean Mison had more chemistry with the guest star and the possessed tree than he ever has with Winter
That's still less crazy than anything that's happened in three seasons of Revenge.
Yep. Every episode is my favorite until I see the next one. I'm always surprised, and pleased, when they've managed to yet again pull out whatever magic it is that makes this show work so well.
Ichabod's reaction to "George Clooney" made this half-Irish woman laugh her ass off. The look on his face, as he was uttering something unintelligible, was priceless.
TNT started showing The Mentalist reruns a few years ago, at 5:00 or 6:00 PM. That only lasted a few months, though. It's been relegated to 1AM, once a week. Sometimes they air two episodes, but it's usually just one. I've managed to catch up on the show, although I never know who's going to be in charge/constantly…
I haven't watched the episode yet (the stuff I've already learned about it doesn't surprise me one bit), but I've been expecting the ending to be a disappointing whimper. It was inevitable. Unless Rigsby or, even better, Cho turned out to be Red John. That would have been hilarious. Or enraging.
Tom Jones' "Delilah".
It's still switching back and forth between my AVClub name and my old Disqus name. Damn you, Disqus! I am Legally Concrete Blonde!
I did a seat-dance when they used the sword. That was one of the greatest things ever.
