She slips into her real accent at least once an episode. It's usually just a word or two.

To me, he'll always be the arsonist/murderer who eluded justice on The Closer.
I wasn't getting those vibes either. I have no interest in seeing him paired with Kalinda in any way other than her shutting him down over and over, and I think his character might be a misstep. But I also wasn't thinking this was a repeat of Blake or Kalinda's husband.
"Scabbit" is a hilarious name. I suspect someone on the writing team has had some experience with Reddit.
I've always loved me some Will, but he's turning into a major asshole. Did Diane come back to the firm with stripped authority? Because Will seems to think he's the only one in charge.
My first thought was that John made those marks. I can't really stomach the idea that he would physically abuse those boys, and I doubt he'd have ever taken a belt to them, or just flat out beat the crap out of them. But I can see him grabbing Dean so tightly (for whatever reason) that it left marks.
I'm with ya. I loved, loved, loved this episode. Loved the MOTW - an old-fashioned ghost story! I felt for Timmy, and his mother, and Dean, and Robyn and Sonny, and holy cats! Ruth's death scene freaked me right the hell out.
I'm hoping we weren't supposed to think her behavior was cute, only that she thought it was. Because ugh, indeed.
I've pretty much always been over Kalinda, so I'm OK with less time screen time for her. On the other hand, I did like how she dealt with Robin in this episode. She was helpful but firm, making it clear she wasn't going to go on a fool's mission. That's the Kalinda I can deal with.
I'm OK with some romance if the writing's good and the actors have chemistry. I think The Good Wife has both of those things down. (Revenge is an example of how not to do it.) Eli and Natalie are so adorable together that I'd be happy if she became a regular character.
Heh. Good point. I was just marveling over that heavy-duty evening make-up she was wearing. As beautifully done as it was, it's ridiculous for her to be wearing that much at work. It's not like she works in a hair salon or behind a cosmetics counter. It didn't occur to me that her eyes would be watering so much from…
When I got up this morning, my husband was using his laptop at the kitchen table. The first thing I saw was a bunch of huge, colorful pictures. It was way too much for my poor old-lady eyes to handle first thing in the morning, and I thought I was gonna go blind. Then I realized he was looking at A.V. Club. "What the…
No one will ever top the synergy of your screen name and this comment.
I agree that we'll get used to it, but at the moment there are several things that are missing (including reviews that were up last night) or damn hard to find. This redesign has been launched without features and functions that made the site easily navigable. It doesn't take a genius to realize this isn't the end of…
The Walking Dead?
Yep. Of all the things to get het up about, a dumb joke is the least of them. Because this is a clusterfuck. I don't think I've ever complained about a site redesign before. Usually it's primarily an aesthetic change, which I can adapt to in a day or two. But this is a big old mess. Reviews that were up last night…
Fitz v. The Glass Door had me laughing out loud.
The song needs to sit in a corner and think about what it's done.
I'm not sure I want Will and Alicia back together I'm not sure how I feel about those two), but you still get an upvote for "nyer nyer nyer."
On the subject of The Walking Dead, NPR's TV critic said that the writing is exciting and the anti-heroes riveting. I don't think anything I hear, read, or watch this week will make me laugh as hard as I did over that.
