This is perfect casting. Maybe Stephanie Beatriz for Holly

Is it with the weird girl version? I recall there might have been a hint of something developing, but it was mainly left up to interpretation

But you're supposed to want to punch him in the face- at least for the first couple of books. Holly is definitely the hero/who you're rooting for for a while.

…Finally?

Be Kind, Rewind is so ignored. I just want Mos Def and Jack Black to remind everyone, monthly, that it exists so that it can be as appreciated as it must be.

I really hope this comes to fruition. This sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

Well they were a little phased.

Actually…. I have a huge fondness for those types of stories too. Can you recommend any? TV shows, movies, books? They're pretty hard to find (except for, obviously, the mentioned ones].

I have vague recollections of "Poop Dawg" and them having to sell chocolate.

Honestly, I think the casting of Ruby Rose this season was purely stunt casting. Once her storyline has played out (hot girl seduces Piper, replaces Alex in her affections, betrays her, then leaves), there's really no reason that they couldn't have used an already existing inmate in that position. There might be some

I saw a weird post on Tumblr that was offended that people of color didn't call out OITNB for criticizing a black woman for using slavery as a justification (AKA they were mad at Taystee for being mad at Black Cindy). Which… I dont understand?

100% to whoever cast little Daya. She looks so much like her, I thought it was her daughter.

This is as good a place to say it as any (though I know it'll get buried/ignored because who's gonna see it?), but I think a lot of the sex scenes in this season were extraneous. Did we really need two (or three, I don't exactly remember) at least one-minute long scenes of Caputo and Fig having sex? Or so many scenes

Pontypool! It's a great, closed-room, claustrophobic paranoid thriller, with some (very slight) sic-fi elements.

I've seen the interpreter one! It's actually pretty good, I had no idea it was part of a film.

One of my favorite movie memories is of watching The Strangers (or something) with my sister, a couple, and, like, 6 frat boys. We were all terrified

Yeah I've noticed a big change. Before, the audition segments used to really focus on the bad & embarrassing ones- the bad singers, the people who made a fool of themselves, etc., which I hated and seemed really mean-spirited.

Her boobs look so uncomfortable in that top

I loved that book!! When's it supposed to come out?

Yeah I'm kind of happy it's languishing in development right now. Eion Colfer deserves better, but I can't imagine a great adaptation of those books. Animated MIGHT work, but I bought the first graphic novel and didn't like the style, so who knows.
