It really sounds like they sing "We are not responsible for that," which I like better

The distinction here is animated. Why would a live action film be considered anime?

"If it isn’t from Japan and it isn’t animated, can it still be anime?"

Bradley Cooper sounds so unlike himself as Rocket I continually forget it's him.

Oh my God

Dollar theatre shoutout

The contrast between the two actors in that header photo is amazing

Ryan and Amber are a great act, and while I'm fairly sure they're not going to continue after this, I really admired what they did and how easy Ryan made it look.

Honestly, watching A Mighty Wind after Best in Show means it can't really live up to the expectations. It's a funny movie, sure, but not nearly his best.

I've never met anyone else who wasn't head-over-heels in love with Up!!

10 sources for 10 pages! The papers you get are going to be all quotes and no analysis

Denver! People call it the "Denver hill" (though tbh I wouldn't say Denver is a recognizable city)

Anytime I listen to an embedded Soundcloud song, I am always mystified and bemused by the people who actually put in the effort to make those little comments that opt up on the bottom.

I'm pretty sure this is a joke, but Dog and that mean Poodle definitely could have dated (and then Cat would have been jealous)

Honestly, binge-watching all the seasons, I really see zero chemistry between the two actresses. I know there's the kiss, but it didn't sell it to me.

Can a director ever have any control over how seriously people take their movies? If people want to view them as straight, or as a pastiche, or a strange homage-satire, can they really influence that?

Ugh. I'm crying just watching that stupid Little Prince trailer. I hope it's good.

Is a retrial even possible? There's been so much media attention and ~scandal~ and ~blame~ that I think it'd be really really hard to find 12 unbiased people

It Follows honestly does not deserve the praise it gets around here. It's slow, not scary, flat, and not really that innovative. It was immensely forgettable— the only reason I HAVEN'T forgotten it is because the AV Club insists on talking about it so much!

Watching that scene from Magic Mike totally divorced from context is really surreal
