When did it change to “Nice Price or No Dice”? Guessing the removal of “crack pipe” is the latest casualty of political correctness?

serious question — would they still have called it “Vandalized” if someone spray painted “Black Lives Matter”?
I’m not a truck guy - but I’ve owned a few. 30/40k for a “small” truck just has my eyes rolling so hard.
The thing is GM doesn’t need to roll out with 10-15 mediocre EVs, they just need one or two GOOD ones to get started. Currently own a Gen2 Volt, it’s okay. All those resources they claim to focus on EV’s, I hope they are smart enough to roll some of them into the dealer network, service, support, and changing the old…
Heh - during a time when the whole automotive sector is his HARD by covid, nobody’s out and about, nobody’s buying, nobody’s working.... are the auto exec’s really that stupid as to think they can pull off the transitional “lets limit supply a ton, then let our dealer network bend over a paying customer for extra just…
Tell that to the lady who’s 8 year old daughter was murdered by BLM protesters, all they did was exit the interstate and turn into a parking lot. Oh yeah, the lady was black.
Oh okay, so you are cool with so called peaceful protesters firing into cars and killing more kids? Burning more of the city and pointless theft? There’s so many ways to go about protesting smarter and safer but you don’t care about that.
Had 1.99% for 60 months on my 2017 Volt I bought new. Paid it off in 30 months, and now have about 80k miles on it. Having clear title in hand is one of those things that makes me so happy, especially during times like this.
The gas savings are pretty sweet, I have a 2016 Gen2 with almost 80k on the clock. I drive quite a bit for work, 70 miles a day. I can go a little over a month on a single 9 gallon tank. Electricity is dirt cheap here in TX too.
I bought a Gen2 volt in 2016 for that exact reason. Dipping my toe in the world of electrics. The range of Model3 wasn’t known at the time, and I needed something that could do the 250-300 miles to visit family. I have about 80k miles on mine so far with no issues. It’s not the fastest, but it’s paid for and with…
Doesn’t matter what they introduce, will never be as good as my 02 S10 5spd manual that I paid $5k for around 2008. Thing was a boss, no issues with it, even bouncing the face off a divider on the highway one night when I hydroplaned (looked like ass, but still drove) It was a reliable beater, damn do I miss that…
+1 internet point for Waxahachie -- I work in that town :p
People are laughing at it because it’s the same thing as Lamborghini fitting the Huracan with an 9 gallon fuel tank. (it’s 21gallons in reality)
he’s using public streets as an uncontrolled test track. Dumb ass doing burnouts and high speed runs against a speed bump with rows of parked cars on each side of him. He claims in the comments “he has plenty of insurance”, and that he “had permits and the cops showed up to check on him”. I’m all for videos like…
Not sure how much I would trust a PR manager for porsche... about how porsche is doing. Their building could be on literal fire, and he would spin it about how every employee is toasty warm and producing fantastical machines.
Yup - my first ever brand new car was a 2005 loaded RX8. It was a fun car, quirky for sure but I knew that going into it. Did some autoX’ing with it... owned it for about 3 years. *right* before my warranty was up the engine blew (apex seals of course) while driving down the highway one night. Luckily it was fully…
I mean... why wait, you can go down to any dealership now and get a Camaro today.
I like Chris Harris, but not enough to let him carry the entire hollowed out series that it used to be. The two new yahoos they put in? Not even worth googling them IMO. Harris/Ried/LeBlanc were watchable at least with a tad bit of chemistry. BBC playing musical chairs with the hosts... for the first time I can…
Yeah, you are right he should totally act like every other exec and CEO at every other well established car company.... his goal was to kick the auto industry in the ass to get EV’s that are real and that work. He’s succeeded. For the past few decades we’ve had every CEO of every auto maker saying “it simply can’t…
Reminds me when I was a tad younger and bought an 08 Z06 in Velocity Yellow... good times indeed (both on and off the track)
