Did you just compare a turbocharged engine with a 10 year old, non-turbocharged engine?

I owned one, slick. I’m well aware of what they are, and moreso not, capable of. Which is very little considering the cost.
Almost like you get less car for half the price.

Or they could follow the SAE J1349 power certification standard and this wouldn’t be a problem.
also have to find a manual transmission too... because NEW SUPRA come only with automatic.... how sporty
I think it’s safe to assume the Germans (and McLaren) basically quote “worst case scenario” horsepower. They probably do this to account for possible variations in fuel quality, altitude, and ambient temperature.
Or grenade it. I expect to see articles about tuned new Supra engines going kablooey on Jalopnik pretty soon.
But will it decimate all, with about 15 grand (or more) in overnight parts from Japan?
I don’t understand what BMW/Toyota gains in understating the engine power. That means it’s probably making 400ish HP at the crank.
I can’t wait to see what the tuners do with it.
I always thought Chevrolet was a dumb name...and Dodge, what the hell’s a Dodge?
Why should they change the meaningful Korean name they’ve had since they were founded in 1947? The only thing “silly” about it is that you seem to have a problem with Korean words.
It’s not a silly name in Korea, where they’re from.
Meanwhile folks with blown engines in their Santa Fe are still waiting on backordered replacements (7+ months in one case) - because you can’t Lemon Law what isn’t ever fixed.
This is cruel and unusual punishment.
Since it’s quite clear from the evidence that Barr has repeatedly violated codes of conduct for lawyers all over the nation, I think this is appropriate. His conduct is indefensible in any way for America’s chief law enforcement officer. His job is to investigate and prosecute crimes, not cover them up.
It’s not even nasty. How about let’s not adopt TRE45ON’s rhetoric. It’s hardball lawyering and advocacy on behalf of the American people.
I’m thrilled that she’s doing it at the same time I’m concerned about Horowitz.
