I’m so impressed by these young women who recognize the issues and speak out on it. When I was 22 I think I was still in the “If I work hard and colour inside the lines then I can earn a place.” and hadn’t yet recognized all the systemic issues that meant that that wasn’t true for everyone, and maybe wasn’t true for

I did not wake up this morning thinking I would like Ariana Grande, yet here we are.

i’m down there upsettingly often, given how numerous and unpleasant the spider population is. i mean, i’ve never seen a bug down there! what are they eating?! but i’m not about to go digging up the crawlspace for anything short of a hand sticking up out of the ground. maybe if i have a friend over who trains cadaver

Oh my god that is INSANE!! It's so crazy when stuff like that happens because you never imagine it actually happening to you or someone you know. Thank god your friend got out of that! And good for you for being so observant!

We learned on this trip that she would be a liability during the zombie apocalypse.

Well, you just know that shit is hiding somewhere deep in a mountain cave, day will destroy the planet...

It gets easier. They will visit you frequently at first and then the go somewhere for a while. They will come back to visit though, and usually the visits after that time away they are aware that they are dead and you can enjoy talking with them. Sorry for you loss :(

HOLY SHIT.

My dad’s best friend had a first cousin named...Ted Bundy. My dad totally knew him growing up because Ted visited family in PA. My dad remembers him having his arm in a cast one summer when all the boys were about 17. (Remember, Ted’s big ruse to get women in his car was a fake cast.)

That was the only time he gave me advice - soon after he died, though, he came to me in a dream, held my hand, and walked me through what it was like for him when he died. That was pretty intense.

You win. Jesus Christ. Did you ever report this to the FBI? Not that it would make a difference since he was already convicted. But I feel like this has historical significance and should be documented. I don’t know if there were any other near-victims who got away, but if you’re the only one, that’s a big deal. I’m

I didn’t even remember that it was targeting only young women! Now it’s even more horrifying.

Found it! Losing Yourself in China by Nilly (2013). The randomness and subtlety of the deadly spot are scarier than an overt monster, I can definitely see why that one would stay with you. A demon or whatever, you can maybe fight back but a spot which saps your will to live? Powerless.

I can’t remember the details but there was one from last year or the year before that I always found the most chilling, and I honestly think about it not infrequently. It was short and simple, and the gist was that there was a place on a hill? in Japan? where they were overwhelmed suddenly with depression though they

My cousin (I grew up with him, same household from the time I was 6 mths old, same parental figures, so we were like siblings) was killed a few years ago. Someone knocked on his door, said they were the police, He gets up to open door, a verbal exchange happens, then this person proceeds to shoot him in the head and

I hadn’t talked about it in years and years, but last week started talking spooky stuff with my friend/tattoo artist during an inking session. He brought up aliens because I’m getting a huge barn owl chest piece done, and then I told him my story and he freaked. He’s convinced I was abducted.

#2 spooky story...this one DID happen to me. I don’t believe it’s ghost related, but perhaps something else.

I was raised in a STEM household in a small rural town. We were at least an hour away from any “major” cities in the state, but close to some smaller ones. My mother majored in physics, minored in astronomy,

Please just tell me you're lying

i mean, this isn’t super impressive, but it is actually true, so. i bought my first house back in march - built in 1951, well-preserved. don’t know much about its history.
