The ham and cheese hot pocket made with the oven directions is legitimately good and worth the extra time to make. And I bet making them in the oven does pretty good things for the pizza ones too.

Lemon is the best choice and strong lemon (like these are supposed to be) is even better.

I don’t like Honeycrisp precisely because they have a very one-note over sweetness. I thought the cosmic crisps I got to try over the weekend had a very pleasant tart note to them. They still wouldn’t be my choice for a baking apple, but for eating, they’re really good.

One of the goals with Cosmic Crisp was that they can warehouse for a year without going mealy. Supposedly they succeeded, but only time will tell for sure.
