It feels like every episode comes with a checklist “oh we need to satisfy this list of demographics so everyone will like us”. It’s frustrating because all past trek was what it was, and people grew to like it. The new one seems like they simply try to appeal to everyone and it winds up appealing to nobody.

It will do nothing to curb suicides, which is the highest number of deaths caused by guns. As long as it’s my own gun, I’ll be able to kill myself (and anyone else around) no problem.
