As a former investigator:
Everyone on the ridesharing side keeps tossing out that “there will be DUI carnage” argument but I’ve yet to see anyone cite any information that shows a CAUSAL relationship between ridesharing and decreased incidents of DUIs.
Actually, I voted against the rail proposal because it was nowhere near my backyard. I would have happily supported it if it actually helped people go INTO downtown, instead of serving only an intra-downtown route.
The problem with Austin traffic was the liberals at first. They thought that if they didn’t build the roads the people wouldn’t come (they were wrong). Then the problem became the suburbs around Austin quickly filled with people decidedly not liberal and we got huge interference from non-liberal state-legislators…
Yes yes and all that, but here’s the deal with the rail lines. It wasn’t a rejection of rail lines, it was a rejection of spending $1B to build 5 stops of a rail line in an area that didn’t have a traffic problem. The facts are a bit skewed on this.
Getting fingerprinted isn’t difficult at all! Uber and Left made the city of Austin spend $640,000 to host an election on a non-standard election day. Then they spent $8 million ad bombing the city which definitely sketched out this Austinite. Bonus! They were never forced out of Austin! Their ad campaign hinged on…
Maybe we can just get strippers to start driving for Uber and Lyft. The market always provides a solution.
well yea that’s the point — if one of these two very different industries must require fingerprinting and licensing, then i wouldn’t pick strippers first
That’s what happens when you try to fnagel your way into someone’s pants
Liar
Ironic when you consider that the Falcons new stadium is basically a giant anus that looks like it’s ready for a nice big penis when the roof “opens”.
I’m probably biased as an attorney, but I don’t think these things are as intuitive as you may believe. Employee manuals that lay out clear expectations of staff are always needed, IMHO.
He’d already be dead.
I love how white men that claim to live in fear of ‘government tyranny’ and believe that it is righteous to rebel against it are the first ones to insist that all black people should strictly obey every police officer like a submissive dog.
Agreed but that’s not saying much. Obviously draper didn’t watch the Halep-Lisicki match, where Halep advanced simply by losing more slowly. Vika’s the only one left who could beat a locked-in, healthy Serena, but she probably won’t. Halep won't get past Azarenka, Kvitova, AND Williams with her first serve…
Sure. There are dozens of things to sue the Sperm Bank for that don’t involve telling you daughter that her skin color is making your life hell.
I bet Kaling wished the interview questions were less rote, but there you go.
Seriously.
I mean, it’s kind of hard to come up with fresh answers to the same question for the 500000000th time
