It’s actually not a sound bar but a single speaker from my old DOS compatible Macintosh computer. By it’s very nature it doesn’t cheer, boo, fart, sneeze, cough, scratch its balls under the belt of its sweat pants and put its hand on mine, on my armrest, it also doesn’t cry or go to the bathroom, and ask me to get out

They DIDN’T evolve from ducks. They both evolved from a common duck ancestor, naturally. The Hominiducks.

In a way that makes you perfect for it. Because part of the undercurrent message is that there are those who understand the ridiculousness of everything and those who are blind to it.

On the plus side, a lot of Marvel movies were filmed in Cleveland. So they look like DC/NYC but filmed there. And I agree. More movies set in the rest of America! There are beautiful cities and vistas all throughout this country, why stick to Cali and one city. Or rather pretend. Most of them are filmed in

I spent a few months in New York some years ago, and the thing I started then to see in all New York movies and TV shows is the instant access to parking spaces within shouting distances of the building that characters wish to visit. New Yorkers will be the first to tell you that you’d be lucky to find a parking space

Half.  The other half are set in L.A.  With the exception of Donny Walberg movies which are required to take place in Boston.

Which becomes very obvious if they forget to CGI out the mountains in the background.  Looking at you, Rumble In the Bronx.

As someone who has lived in 30 states including 2 months in NYC, I can tell you there are a lot of places getting ignored. NYC has a lot of offer. But you have to get past its pretentiousness to find any of it. It and its citizens are so full of itself I was surprised there wasnt mandatory circle jerks every hour to

Well...yeah. NYC or southern California. The rest of the country is a bit shit, if you didn’t know.

You could do like us in Chicago do for films shot in Chicago, pretend they were filmed in Toronto

Not sure if it makes this any better but half the movies set in New York are actually filmed in Toronto anyway.

As a New Yorker, who has been all around the country...no place else here matters.

It is. Everything else is just an elaborate sound stage.

Dear Will, if you took a second to try and review the *game* Microsoft Flight Simulator instead of the concept of cloud and games as a service, maybe you would have done the tutorial, which would have taught you to fly VFR (which incidentally is the only form of navigation actually included in the tutorial).

If I’m going to go watch a mid 90's Stallone movie, 7 times out of 10, its going to be DM over JD. Smaller Rob Snyder role, more prophetic, but no ABC warrior

Judge Dredd will always have a special place in my heart because it is one of the last pre-CGI scifi movies. Matte paintings, miniatures, stop motion (IIRC), all kinds of old-school effects going on in that flick. Watching it evokes a sense of nostalgia.

It’s interesting how many of those are derivative of other heroes. e.g. War Machine from Iron Man, Jon Stewart from Hal Jordan/Alan Scott, Aqualad from Aquaman, Firestorm from the older version of Firestorm. . .
