you don't land a 777 "well-executed" like the Hudson landing, and CERTAINLY not on the ocean...very different bodies of water, and VASTLY different aircraft...a 777 is not something you set down gently unless it's on a landing gear, and tarmac.

uhh...if you shut down the altitude encoding transponder, and all other reporting mechanisms, and fly low, it would definitely disappear, and then they could just keep it in a hangar...and then kill everyone on-board.
