Fret not, that's almost certainly a show car. Meaning it's got no drive train and either was never actually made to be a competitive race car or was damaged beyond repair.

It's an investment, a Hell of an investment if you really want serious coverage, but as you say, it pays off.
As far as I'm concerned, if you care that much you're better off investing in clear film paint protection or clear bra if you will. I know I did and it has paid off ten fold. Been to the auto x several times and after smashing cones all day I can just rub it off with a damp rag, or at worse a little wax will take…
Direct link to the SCORE feed. That shot of the starting line sign has been keeping me on the edge of my seat for a good 30 mins now.
Hey look, Marshall Pruett said something very similar to what I was trying to say here: "As for running at higher boost throughout the race, I'd love to see IndyCar give manufacturers some Month of May leeway. Forget the mileage requirements, build something special, something unique and more powerful, and put on a…
I think it maybe more of an everybody looses situation, these people are all most likely long term employees of GM who I'm sure gave a lot to the company. I also highly doubt that there is any one person who is "responsible" for why this didn't get turned into a recall. I doubt many, to all of the people who got fired…
Icelanders are a powerful mix of redneck along with that Scandinavian uhhh... let's call it "respect" for life.
Fiesta ST
Yes the Fiesta ST does, didn't mean to imply it didn't. However, it's not just the twist-beam that sucks on the Abarth, it's the design of it. Look at the angle and position relative to the springs as well as arch of wheel travel, of the rear shocks. I haven't actually seen the ST's set up so I can't comment on it.
And that's exactly what make the Abarth so great! Having said that, I'd kill for it to have a better rear suspension, because it would take that lunacy to a level that would embarrass quite a few.
I agree, I hate that shit too. I mean who are you fooling? Only people who have absolutely no idea about cars and literally can only think of image. Also, if your the kind of person who doesn't find the Abarth (or small cars) cool, then putting dual tips on it brah, won't change your mind.
As an Abarth owner I can say I really like the way this looks, especially the profile and rear. The major, major, major weakness of the Abarth is terribly designed and cheap as dirt, rear suspension. If they do bring it and if they can see their way to getting it a proper independent rear suspension it could be a…
No, not P.K.Dick.
I'm a V1, buyer, user and believer, but there are other good options like some of the Escort models. Cobra's, however (and any detector that costs $52) are junk, please don't waste your money on one.
Yeah I'm sure I'm not thinking of Futurama, though Groening is a pretty clever and versed guy and if he was originally thinking of the same story I wouldn't be surprised. It was read for a class I took in college, prof. gave us a bunch of the stories in digital form, I will have a look on my hd when I get home and…
I can't remember the title or the author, but there is a scifi story about a guy driving and being bombarded by ads (and traffic) and freaking out. Of course the ads were outside the flying car / spaceship thing he was "driving," but if memory serves me correctly, they were personalized ads. So yeah, creepy and…
Okay, hello to everybody. *Waves and grins* This isn't news, this isn't unique to the auto industry either. This is pretty much business especially when manufacturing is involved, but it even isn't limited to that. For example, remember when Apple went around throwing money at that white porcelain hole called Apple…
Everybody says the know the best body shop, but believe me I know the best body shop.
Well I'm very skeptical about the auto in this car, but sounds like you should wait to drive it. Or wait until it comes out and get last years car in stick at a great deal... As for the LCD, I actually like the look and idea of mechanical gauges, but that's a totally personal thing.
Some people have had issues with Madness, so be careful, check out Eurocompulsion (I have not affiliation with either.) I think with the Abarth you either get in it and love it or not, if you've been 3 times and aren't finding that's what you really want then maybe look at other stuff. Then again you've been 3 times,…
